Maria Pranka (1986) is a multimedia artist from Riga, Latvia. Pranka has studied various fine art techniques for more than 15 years. She constantly improves her skills in art schools and workshops in Western Europe. She paints, creates collages and installations, and works in photography, video and graphic design. She has organized and curated exhibitions, fashion photography and public initiatives projects. Today, Pranka positions herself as an artist in the abstract style, characterized by emotionality, individuality, unpredictability and breaking of borders.
