Rita Pranča (1970) is a Latvian ceramist who graduated from the Art Academy of Latvia, Ceramics Department, with a master’s degree and is currently continuing her studies in sculpture. A multifaceted approach to artistic expression characterizes her style. A particular focus among her diverse themes is the feminist movement, offering a unique perspective on the world through a female artist’s lens while incorporating male images into her works. Since 1996, Pranča has organized 6 solo exhibitions and participated in 38 group exhibitions, including international symposiums. She is currently based in Baldone, Latvia.
