The art space “Art Platz” is delighted to announce that the exhibition of paintings by the great Latvian painter Janis Pauluks will be opened on July the 3rd. The exhibition will feature 19 paintings from a private collection, which haven’t previously been displayed together before. This is an excellent opportunity to meet “the king of painters”. The exhibition will be open until September 27.
Although Pauluks' path as a painter began only at the age of 32, his creative energy has left behind about 700 outstanding works of art. His artworks are saturated with thematic and expressive diversity – landscapes, figural compositions, still life, marine art, portraits, and self-portraits created in experimental styles, coloristic tones and facture.
