The Art Platz Gallery invites you to the opening of KДЃrlis DobrДЃjs' solo exhibition "The Garden of Life" on June 9th at 17.00, Alberta Street 4, Riga.
I’m walking for a while and stop, I turn around, for a moment I walk backward (..) I see an apple tree on the very site of the low stone fence of the cemetery. Fantastic, probably a hundred years old, mighty, curved branches without any leaves only apples. Apples on a white snowy background. Painted, unbelievable. So, I have to paint.
